Starting a new job can be stressful for the new employee and for seasoned staff. Having clear orientation, training and competency programs can ease this stress and help the new employee gain confidence in his/her new role. Consistent competency assessment assures all that the skill level of staff is assessed upon hire and periodically during employment.
