Medical Mutual has developed a number of short in-service education seminars designed around specific topics related to the office practice, hospitals and long term care. The complimentary seminars can be conducted right in your facility so that all who attend get the necessary detail to execute best practices in the area covered.

Incident Reporting Process - This is a 1-hour presentation describing the value of incident reporting. The presentation includes a review of the steps to take immediately following an incident and the proper completion of the report. Target audience: clinical staff.
Medication Error Prevention Strategies for Nursing – This is a 1-hour presentation focused on problems encountered in the medication use process. Practical tips are offered. Target audience: All clinical departments involved with medication use.
The Role of the Risk Manager – This 1-hour presentation focuses on the role and responsibility of the hospital risk manager. Components of an effective risk management program are discussed. Target audience: risk managers, administrative personnel, clinical staff.
