Jillian Harward-Edginton Joins Medical Mutual’s Marketing Department
On January 12, 2009, Jillian Harward-Edginton joined Medical
Mutual’s Marketing Department as the Marketing Specialist.
Jillian will work with the Company’s direct-written physicians and
practices as an active liaison between the insured and the
Company. She will be responsible for helping clients understand
the comprehensive benefits of their insurance program, as well as
the services available to them from the Company.
Jillian has experience in both the insurance business, as well as
the legal field. For two years, she was employed as a customer service
representative with ASA Insurance and Investments, which
represents over 25 insurance companies. She was responsible for
understanding the rules and regulations of each and relaying this
information to the clientele. Prior to that, she was employed as a
paralegal for Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake City, where she prepared
various legal documents and assisted the attorneys in court. It was
there that Jillian developed a passion for law and politics and a
desire to understand the legislative process. She is excited to combine
her insurance and legal experience and gain a greater knowledge
of the healthcare industry and the current legislative initiatives.
Jillian attended the University of Utah, where she earned a
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. During that time, she also
worked with underprivileged teens as a Youth Development
Professional.
Jillian and her husband, Jason, currently reside in Portland, after relocating from Salt Lake City, Utah. Her husband is currently attending PA school at The University of New England. She is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys everything nature has to offer. She looks forward to enjoying the beautiful scenery of Maine and New Hampshire.
