The Advocate Goes Seasonal
Regular readers of The Advocate may recognize something
slightly different with this issue. For several years,
each issue of this publication was identified below the
masthead by quarter and year. In practice, that naming
standard was meant to represent the timeframe of the
material being reported in that issue — as opposed to
the date of publication.
As The Advocate has evolved, however, the Company
has made a concerted effort to make the publication
more relevant and timely, with reporting that is more
current and even prescient. To reflect this, beginning
with this issue — which reports on a dividend declaration,
a web initiative, an employee promotion and a
joint venture all announced in March, as well as the
2007 year-end financial results and the upcoming Board
of Directors elections — Medical Mutual is changing the
naming standard of The Advocate to reflect the season of
publication. We hope you enjoy this Winter 2008 issue.
